Rainbows

Hello everyone! I'm back again with another layout from my travel album.
This one was made for a specific purpose though. I needed something to flow from this colour scheme into another one because the facing divided pages didn't flow well at all!
So I just put together two quick 12x12 pages to make it all work!

I used the same Simple Stories collection for this page. I did use a different configuration of photos on this page though. I was only going to use the two along the side but I really wanted to use that word card and some of the words didn't really make sense for this page. I just found another rainbow picture and cut it smaller to cover those words up!

I left the embellishment very plain on this layout because of all the pictures.
I put the title between the two photos because there really wasn't another good place to put it.
I used some neutral washi to ground the layout.

It was a pretty simple layout but it did take some time to figure everything out.

Thanks for coming by!

Project Life Travel Edition: Mosquitos and Toilets

Hi eveyone!
Here is another divided page from my Africa album (which might turn into two albums soon...).  This page protector is from Making Memories, it's not my favourite one, but it had the portrait style pockets in it.
I used a lot of Simple Stories on this page, in fact I think everything but the labels, arrows and twine is from that collection. I used a lot of that collection throughout the book to keep it uniform, plus it's easy to use. I also used a lot of other colours as well though so it didn't look like a primary school album or something.

Enjoy!

Our Family Photo

Hi again friends!
Today's layout is from our church photos that we had taken in the fall. It's the first time we have had family photos taken like this so it was exciting for us. The photo sizes on this layout are a lot different than normal. The big picture is 5x7 and the small one is a wallet sized photo.

Products I used were Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper for the background paper. I think that little journalling card came from Echo Park.
The title is partially die cut and partial letter stickers and I love the way that it turned out! I think it looks amazing.  I put a couple strips of washi down under the title so it would connect with the elements underneath it.
This is one of my favoruite layouts that I made last year, might even be my favourite one!
